Here is an article from our local paper showcasing the building plans of a local “not for profit” hospital. Note that they are adding on to their ICU and emergency room, areas of a hospital notoriously cited as giant money losers. I think this article (unintentionally) helps to dispense with this “money-losing” fiction.
Also: where did they get $53,000,000 in profit? From cost shifting? How many people are struggling to make payments to this outfit during this Christmas season in the midst of their announcement of this wild building project?
