The Mayo Clinic has decided to provide transparent and bundled pricing for total knee replacements.  You can read about it here.  I say, “welcome aboard!”  The more email correspondence I receive regarding this concept, the more convinced I am that this has become a movement, one now unstoppable and one representing a disaster for those who profit from secretive and unbundled pricing.  

Watch for more and more facilities to list their prices and for more and more entrepreneurs like SnapHealth.com and PokitDok.com and others to bring health value awareness to consumers of all types, groups and individuals.  What an exciting thing to see!
